Bilal Saqib

Muhammad Bilal Saqib is a seasoned academic and embedded systems specialist with over 20 years of experience shaping minds in electrical engineering. Since 2009, he has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The University of Lahore, where his rigorous approach and passion for innovation have earned him recognition as a transformative educator.

Bilal began his academic journey with a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Lahore campus, followed by an MSc in Embedded Systems Engineering from the University of Huddersfield, UK. He launched his teaching career as a Lecturer at NUST SEECS, where he laid the foundation for his pedagogical style—deeply technical, hands-on, and future-focused.

His teaching portfolio spans a wide array of foundational and advanced subjects, including Digital Logic Design, Verilog HDL, Digital System Design, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Electronic Circuit Design, Probability and Statistics, and FPGA-Based Design. Beyond the classroom, he has contributed to national capacity-building efforts, notably conducting SystemVerilog verification training under NAVTTC’s chip design module—bridging academia with industry-grade design practices.
